This year I really wanted to keep all of my decor to a minimum, yet have a welcoming and inviting home for the season. I loved the look I kept seeing of simple wreaths hung in windows.

My dining room always seems like it has the least decor for Christmas, so when I saw the hanging wreaths, I figured I could do one in my window also.
I had a plain simple wreath that I looped some gold gilt ribbon around and used ribbon to hang it from the top of the window like the inspiration pics.
This filled the area with some additional Christmas cheer and still kept things on the minimal side.
I added a large gold ornament to the center of mine for a little extra bling.
The wreath finished off the dining area and was a very simple 10 minute copy cat.

It looks lovely. I am trying to keep our decorating simple too, yet in the christmas spirit too.
