Welcome to the 87th Table Top Tuesday. I have been enjoying all of your wonderful Fall vignettes and room redo's that you guys have been doing. So much inspiration.
Next week our theme will be our FALL CLOCHE PARTY instead of Table Top Tuesday. So I thought I would do a small vignette showing a really simple hurricane display. Remember you can use a cloche, hurricane, apothecary jar, cheese or cake dome and any kind of container that you can decorate in or under.
This is how the coffee table has looked for a while. Perfect for summer and ok for fall, but I can improve on it a bit.

I left everything the same on the coffee table, just tweaked the floral arrangement and hurricane a little.
I think we can use the same items for any season with just a few minor changes.
I removed the yellow tulips and added a lot of berry picks, pods and some feathers to the floral arrangement. I think the feathers give it more of a fall look.
I previously had a candle in the hurricane and just swapped it out for a gold leaf pumpkin. I also added a gold egg to the tray arrangement. A little glitz is always fun.
Since I have been cleaning the garage and purging boxes I've found a few treasures that I forgot about. I added a couple of books to this side of the floral arrangement so I could showcase this beautiful crocheted cross.
I wanted the cross to show up, so I chose books that would blend into the table runner.
How sad that I can't remember where I got it. I am sure it was a gift years ago, but I can't remember who. Such a lovely treasure.
Now I think the table has the touch of elegance that I wanted and also a quiet hint of fall.
My Burlap Coffee Bag giveaway is still going on. Click here to enter.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits and can't wait to see all of your wonderful vignettes.

ReplyDeleteYes darling Marty, I had a wonderful birthday for high tea at my husband's cousin's home who hosted it along with his two sisters and some friends, it was lovely, I just didn't want to bother them taking pics, but it was gorgeous with their Bavarian china too. Than with hubby and two couples more we went out for dinner, so I totally had a great time. Thank you for asking me you're so kind and my tea table was faux, as I hardly was home that day! Thank you for hosting such wonderful party which I try not to miss. Lots of hugs sweet lady. FABBY
