Shopping and Bargains

I found a tee shirt the other day at Kohl's and then decided I didn't like it, so I took it back to see what else I could find.  Just as I parked the car a lady came up to me and asked if I was going into Kohl's.  I said yes, she said here's $10 Kohl's dollars.  I didn't find anything.  Maybe you can use it.  Yip-skip!!!!!  People are so generous and free money is always fun to shop with.


I didn't find another tee that I liked, but I did find another pair of capri's.  These are so cute and fit so well.  Loved them.


The tee that I returned was $9.99 and the pants are only $8.80.  I got money back.


 I also found this really cute and comfy pair of sandles.


 Mudd and they feel like you're walking on a cloud.


 Regular $49.99 on sale for $9.99.  ( I'm 5'7" tall, so yes, I have big feet ).  I handed her my $10 Kohl's cash, so these were virtually free.  Just paid the tax.


I usually hate to clothes shop and havn't really done much for about 2 years, just the necessities.  Now I have a whole new casual wardrobe with everything I bought last week.  I'm really on a roll.

  1. Hi Marty, Great finds and such a deal. I looked at the Kohl's ad today and thought about going but decided to pass on it. I could use some new tennis shoes or maybe capris that fit and don't make me look shorter than I am.

  4. Love those capris, Marty! I just bought a new pair of sandals about a month ago at Dress Barn in brown with some jewels on it. Casual or dressy, they work both ways. I didn't get as good a price as you but I was just happy they feel good and don't hurt my feet. I normally get an 8.5 or 9, but I had to get a 9.5 in these because the way the toe area is designed.

  5. I hate to shop too but found a pair of Naturalizer sandals at Belks for $14.98. For me that is a real score.

  9. I love Khol's....although my mother and I stay confuse about exactly WHERE we are and WHICH door we came in! We walk around in circles!

    Those capris are definitely hot and in style. Such a good deal. I think I'm going to have to get me a pair. I'm also 5'7" and wear 10's. Seems they are always out of stock my size. Thank YOU for your comments and the Follow Button suggestion. Still learning so we will see how that goes. Sometimes it takes me awhile to figure things out.

  29. cute pants and shoes! I bet I was in Kohl's for 2 hours on Friday! I tried on just about everything...I ended up with a cute black top. I need to go back this week though. How nice of that lady to give you $10 Kohl's cash!

    I think Chase's room will be fun when it's all done...I wasn't sure about black bedding! However, it looks pretty good with the green walls and other colors in the picture. The pillows should help to break up all that black! I hope you are having a great day today! Kristen

  31. I love hearing stories of peoples' generosity, it happens a lot more than what gets reported. People leave coupons on the grocery shelves and pay tolls for the next person. I love your great deals and your great story.
