Thank you all so much for your sweet get well wishes and prayers. I am taking all of my medication and the pneumonia is getting better. Just at that really hacky cough stage, but on my way to being well. You are all so kind to think of me. You make my day.
I started to try and get a little fall decor out last week before I got sick, and the dining table is as far as I got. I still love using the silver and some things stayed untouched, just a few different things under the cloche and next to the candelabra and done. (The wood leaning against the wall in the background is a project my grandson is working on, so it can't move. Love that boy to pieces and after all, his things are never in the way at grandma's house. )

Everything looks so pretty. I have not done any decorating for Fall yet - to much other going on. Sorry to read that you are sick - take care of yourself. That pneumonia can get bad in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are doing better Marty, but hope you continue to hope for a speedy full recovery!
ReplyDeleteYour dining room looks great, and you are so lucky that all your regular decor works with the autumn colors. To me, it's not really fall decorating without the orange, gold, and browns, but since that isn't always my normal decorating scheme, I have to work harder to make the fall colors work.
So sorry you have not been feeling well. Prayers being sent up that you will be good as new soon.
ReplyDeleteYour table looks great! It really must to hard change to fall when, in your area, it is still so hot. Extra points for making me want to put on a sweater. :)
glad your feeling better, decorating for fall is the best! everything looks great
ReplyDeleteSo glad your feeling better Marty! Your dining room table looks beautiful! Love the silver! Martina
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that you are kicking that pneumonia to the curb. I love your silver pitcher, it is gorgeous. And I think it is the star in this wonderful vignette.

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I passed on the ceramic pumpkins at Dollar Tree when I was there this morning, Marty! I figured it would just be one more thing to pack and I will just wait until I'm moved before I look to get anything. I did pick one up and think how nice it would look under a cloche and I see you've done a few. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Marty! Don't you just love fall? Glad to hear you're feeling better. I've had pneumonia and it really takes it out of you. Be well.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Ok. I'm heading to the basement right now to dig out the fall stuff. I hate to hear that you have been sick. That is no fun. I hope you are back to 100% soon. Fran

I love the use of your champagne bucket too. I'm so happy to hear that you are on the mend. Please be careful not to do too much too soon - pneumonia is nothing to take lightly!
