Fun Day with Blogger Friends

I don't think there's anything more fun than getting together with friends.  Yesterday I had so much fun having lunch with 6 bloggers that have become such wonderful friends.

 We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then went to Pottery Barn and browsed.  You can just imagine all of us talking and laughing at the same time.  It just isn't more fun than that.



 Cindy of Applestone Cottage was here from Wisconsin to see a new grandson, so of course we all had to get together so we could see her and catch up. She is the sweetest lady, and so much fun to be with.



 From the left this is Liz of Rose Vignettes and Linda of Reminesce and This and That.  These ladies are such a blast.


 Lizabeth aka the Fashionista and her mom Laura of Decor To Adore.  Such sweet ladies and so talented.  Laura made us all the cutest little sachet's.  She never forgets to bring gifts and they are always wonderful.


I was so disappointed that some of my pictures didn't turn out.  They were so blurry.  I did get this great one of the whole group.  On the right nearest the camera is the sweet Ceekay of Thinkin' of Home.  She needs our prayers, she got the news yesterday that she has to go back on chemo.  I know there is miracle working power in blogging prayers, so I hope you will all keep her in prayer for a complete healing and that she doesn't lose her hair again.


Great fun and such sweet ladies and dear friends.  The best kind of day ever.

    What a great day, indeed! Everyone looks so happy and amazing! For me, it's great to put faces and names of blogs together.Ceekay will be on our home prayer list, too. I keep mine on the side of the fridge and it reminds me several times a day to pray for those in need of God's special healing touch! Thank you for taking us along to enjoy the day!

  17. Marty, I know you've had a fun day. Good for you!
    Before you make draperies, check out Bed,Bath and Beyond. I was pleasantly surprised at some I saw. They were completely lined and the quality of fabric looked like faux silk. I've always done custom made but these made me stop and think.

  50. Marty, what a terrific post. Of course, my favorite photo is of the porch. I love my screened porch, but have never decorated it for fall. Hmm, thanks for the idea. I blogged about it a few weeks ago dressed for summer with a hint of roosters, too.
