I love having a really fun vignette on the breakfast table to look at, however since we use this table to eat on every day, moving everything to set the table is always a chore.
I've had this gorgeous tureen sitting on top of the fridge for such a long time, and decided it was time to not only simplify the table, but I love looking at the tureen, so now that is going to be the centerpiece for a while.
This piece is so beautiful with the most gorgeous fruit and flowers and all of the details are stunning. It is also really huge.
Every side has different fruit and flowers.
Even the tray handles are gorgeous leaves and strawberries.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.

I love your tureen. I just bought one from my store that is a pig and it is surrounded with vegetables simullar to yours. Thanks for sharing. Richard at My Old Historic House,

Keeping it simple is the best solution. I hate moving the entire tablescape over just to have a meal! Your tureen is very colorful and pretty, Marty. It's a great summer look, too. Plus, it will be soooo easy to just slide over or take completely off if you have 4 for dinner and need a place for all of your serving dishes. :-) Sue
ReplyDeleteYour tureen is just beautiful, and its so nice not to have to move it. I had my kitchen decorated with fruit. This makes me want to change it back. No, no, no!

Just might do so..
