A beautiful day here in the desert, so before it warmed up too much this afternoon, I pulled a few weeds and enjoyed some of the flowers in the yard.
The Daylilly is finally starting to bloom. I can't wait until it spreads more and I have tons of flowers. The Orange Bells in the background is blooming it's head off. A new plant this year and it is doing really well so far.
Aren't the flowers gorgeous with such a vibrant color. It definitely makes this corner shine.
DH just came back from a friend's house that was thinning out some plants and said he had a treat for me. First thing I saw was the pot. Love the color and the texture. Great pot.
Then he uncovered it and a gorgeous, hugs plant for the patio. Fabulous treat, I was thrilled.
Hope you're having a super Sunday and enjoying the outdoors.

ReplyDeleteOh Marty! So so pretty. I see that Home Depot has some great deals on flowers this week. Heading over there tomorrow to get some. The only ones I seem to be able to keep alive in the summer are vincas. I love vincas but would like a variety. Any suggestions for full sun flowers for a girl that isn't a very good gardener?
ReplyDeleteMarty - Your fingers just "drip" with creativity. Do you loan yourself out? :)
ReplyDeleteNo, we do not have the beautiful weather you are having. It has been the third wettest spring in Nor. Calif. in over one hundred and forty years. Yikes!
But we are grateful for the rain. Have a great Sunday - Marsha

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. 99 here right now, so am inside with the a/c.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers! They are gorgeous in bloom! We too had a tough winter and some of the plants are slow to come back. Flowers are amazingly resilient though, so I have high hopes that they will.
