This is the little door pocket that I had up for Christmas, with it down, time to replace it with something.
This poor wreath has had a million lives, but maybe I can take some left over fruit and flowers and make it work.
Faux fruit, some wooden skewers and burlap ribbon. Just poke a hole in the bottom of the fruit, insert the skewer and poke it in. Couldn't be easier. I just break off the skewer to the length I need.

ReplyDeleteReminds me I need to change my door pocket. I am hoping it looks more winter than Christmas, so it can "hang" around awhile. This respiratory thing has given me the "slows"!

ReplyDeleteMarty...is looks fantastic and sounds so easy, but I guarantee you that I could do all the things you say..and when finished I would look at it and get that feeling of dissatisfaction! Some people got it and some people don't! :) So....can I have yours?? Hmmmm? LOL

ReplyDeleteAmazing as always. You absolutely won't believe this....I reworked a wreath yesterday as well. One with fruit..I added pieces of burlap, roses, hearts, and strips of sheet music to mine. I will post today and link up to Susan too so you can see it.

Well now I know what to do with my sad looking everyday wreath! I was also going to take some old shatter proof ornaments to the SPCA but now I'm thinking I should give my tired old Christmas wreath an updated look.Thanks for the inspiration!~Ames
ReplyDeleteThat turned out wonderful! I have a natural pine wreath on my door from Christmas. It still looks healthy, so I just removed the red Christmas bow. I think I might add a jute and red stripped ribbon or garland to it...
