Welcome to the 47th Table Top Tuesday. By now I know you all have your Christmas decor down and have been busy rearranging your vignettes. I can't wait to see them all.
With the Christmas put away, this is what was left of the kitchen corner display.
Then I got on a mission to use some of the silver I have. I was so fortunate to get a lot of my Mom's and most of my MIL's to add to all that I already had, so I NEED to use it. I see you guys sprinkle it all over the house, so I am on a mission. lol
A silver and crystal coaster holds the lime ball and a silver water pitcher holds some ivy for starters.
Then a pretty silver bowl to hold the faux fruit.
A small silver plate for the cheese and grapes.
Ok, this is looking good. I like the sparkle.
But I just couldn't stop there.
When I found this wonderful huge tray I thought it should replace the basket tray.
Looks pretty sparkly to me.
After a couple of days I decided that was just a little too much sparkle and went back to this, however---
some silver in this corner is great.
My rooster cloche with apples and lemons and the lime rooster are fun.
Add a plate, wheat, another rooster and some cork fruit and this works for me.
Now I have a little sparkle all over the kitchen.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

Sparkle is right! OMGosh the touches of Silver do make your kitchen corners a beautiful place. I especially like the contrast between the silver and pottery pieces....the tray and plate...nice!
ReplyDeleteAs always a Stunning Series of Photographs and Inspiration galore! Thanks for hosting this fun party!
I honestly don't like silver that much and would never have thought to put it in a more casual setting, but as all things you do...it is lovely.
ReplyDeleteMarty your vignette is full of whimsy. I love the colors and the silver tray. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Marty,
ReplyDeleteI just love how you decorate! You have exquisite taste and your touches of silver are simply lovely! Always a pleasure to visit you. Thank you for hosting and have a wonderful week.
Blessings,

I love your sparkle! Now I'm going to be on the lookout for some sparkle. Thanks for hosting Marty and for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your evening,

There are so many uses for silver it's a shame not to bring it out. Yours looks fabulous here. I love the plate in front of your tray too! Always fun here! Thanks Marty!
ReplyDeleteThe silver tray looks fabulous back there. I love all the lime greeb too. Your remark reminds me of a bumper sticker I recently saw that said "I like Shiny Things" how about that?
ReplyDeleteI love using the silver Marty! Not only do you get to enjoy your pieces it adds a little light, shiny is fun-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteMarty,
ReplyDeleteWoW! You really have that WoW factor now! The silver accessories immediately caught my eye as you switched out the items. I love how silver captures the light and then releases it throughout the space. I know that each time you view those heirloom pieces that warm memories of your loved ones will fill you with radiant JOY! Thank you for hosting this wonderful meme! I've dressed up the built~in china cabinet with a winter beverage center in honor of our freshly fallen SNOW!
Fondly,
Pat
Hi Marty...
ReplyDeleteGirlfriend, I am loving all that pretty "sprinkling" of silver around your home! Seriously!!! I love all the pretty silver that you added to your kitchen corner vignette...I just think that the contrast between the woven tray, etc. with the silver is sooo pretty and it lends lots of interest to the vignette! You did GOOD, Girlfriend!!! I do like the woven tray with that vignette best! I remember looking at your post where you added the silver to that new shelf that you put up in your kitchen...the pretty silver butter dish...I loved that look! You really do have a fabulous collection of silver, my friend...and I really am enjoying seeing it out and about at your place!!! Thanks for sharing more of your beautiful home and that pretty silver with us!!!
Love ya,
Chari
