I wanted it to be a little special, so a nice teacup, a pretty silver tray, a lovely plate and I was ready to relax.
A pretty monogrammed napkins helps make it special.
A small crytal tealight holder with a wonderful cinnamon candle.
Seems like if we make our "me" time a little special, then we really relax and enjoy. I hope you fix a special place for you to relax and enjoy your time.
I am linking to Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thurs. Be sure to visit her and see some wonderful tablescapes.
Don't forget the Christmas Cloche Party on Dec. 10th. Grab the button and spread the word, and then get out those cloches and let's play.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always appreciate your visits.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post Marty. I'm already getting so busy and stressed out for Thanksgiving and I have a week to go. I guess I need to stop and think about things and what is important and what is not. Please know that your blog has become a daily part of my life, but today was special. Take care...Sue.

ReplyDeleteI little "me" time is so necessary this time of year, I'm glad you were able to grab a moment. Your tray looks so inviting I'd like to just sit down with you a chat for awhile. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSpending time with the Lord is an everyday event for me. I love your tea for one. It is so nice to sit and have tea with Him. I am glad that you shared this post with us. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful...peaceful, relaxing, a time to reflect. I love it! That napkin is so pretty! I can remember the days when nearly every household - no matter how humble - had monogrammed linens that were either new or passed down. I have some passed down from my Mom and Grandmom, and just bought a set of my own a couple of weeks ago that I hope to pass on to my stepdaughter or niece. Beautiful setting! I hope you and yours have a wonderful, peace-filled Thanksgiving.
