Thanks to the wonderful Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for hosting another Tablescape Thurs, and thanks also to Leigh @ Tales From Bloggeritaville for hosting Thrifty Thursdays. Be sure to check out both blogs for some wonderful eye candy and gorgeous treasures.

I don't have a lot of red, but I pulled together a few things for a 4th of July table. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. God Bless America!!!

Chicken Wire Cloche - Ross last yr.
Placemats - Dollar Tree
Blue Haystack Dessert Plates - Goodwill

Sorry I havn't been making all the rounds. We just got back from vacation and now we have our precious 18 yr. old grandson visiting. Lots of cooking and trying to fill him up and lots of playing. Such a pleasure to have him here.

That chicken wire cloche is SO great! Your table looks festive and friendly, as well as elegant. I really need some blue glasses at MY house!

Your red, white and blue table turned out very pretty! I saw a couple of roosters in the 80% off section today at HL, but did not indulge. :)
Can you actually fill up a teenage boy ?!? :D

I have the same Blue Willow plates...bought mine through Fry's grocery store promotion about 15 years ago. I also have a large set of the HayStack and Winterscene plates...they are from Currier and Ives...love to use them at Thanksgiving time too. I also have the milk glass white water goblets too! Love your setting and thrifty finds.

How many of us in blogland bought those Churchill dishes from the grocery store years ago before blogging? I still use and love them everyday. I wish I had the milk glass goblets to go with mine. Love them. Have a joyous 4th. Sally

Very pretty! I like how you used the traditional colours to create the theme rather than using actual themed pieces! Very creative and shows us we can use what we have on hand!

Oh, I really like your red, white and blue tablescape. I don't have much red either and I've been wondering what to do. I recently bought red and white placemats because I liked its pattern, so thanks for the inspiration.

You are so creative with those cloches. I love how you decorated this one. I did not know what a cloche was until I saw your cloche party last year, so I bought a few and look forward to joining the party this year.

All the Best,

Requi

Marty, don't worry about trying to keep up with replies, just enjoy your grandson being there with you, everybody understands! You are the best at replying, and you deserve to take a break sometimes!

I am always inspired and encouraged whenever I visit your blog. Inspired because you give me so many lovely ideas. Encouraged because many of your items are from Ross, Dollar Tree, and Goodwill...stores that are more in my budget than Macy's or Dillards.

My mom has those same white goblets. She doesn't use them...they're packed away in a box...maybe I should ask if I could have them.

Anyhow, enjoy your grandson!!

Blessings,
Patti
