If you are like me and love to hunt for gorgeous decorator fabrics and rugs at discount prices, you really need to find a store like this. This is a fabric liquidator store. They only deal in bankrupt stock, discountinued or roll ends. Their rugs are gorgeous and you really can't beat the price anywhere.
This is just one small section of their rug inventory. I didn't want to take pictures of the others because there were a lot of shoppers in that area and I didn't think that would be too cool. As you can see it says $99.00. Most of these are 6 x 9. The yellow labels on the rugs are on clearance for only $50.00. Can you believe such a bargain.

Now we're going to start looking at all the fabric aisles. There are bolts like this on each side of the aisles, and there are 12 of these aisles. Look at the prices, beautiful decorator fabrics at $6.99 yd. Most stores you would have to pay 3 times that amount. Even JoAnn on sale is twice this price or better.

Every color and type of fabric you can imagine. Look way down at the end of the aisle and you can see big wonderful tassel tiebacks. These are $5.99 to $8.99.

More colors and types of fabric. I didn't take pictures of all the aisles, just the ones that didn't have a customer in them and just to give you a sample of all the wonderful fabrics.

Now this is a section of the store that just has clearance bankrupt stock. $3.00 yd. for 54 inch wide decorator fabrics. This shows a ton of cottons, outdoor fabrics, linens and all types of weaves and patterns. You have to pull out tons of bolts to see what's in the back.

Still in the clearance section. Chenilles, velvets, brocades and plush fabrics of all kinds, and these are $3.00 yd. too. You can also see more of their rug section. These are the 8 x 10 and 12 x 15 sizes. They cost $149.00 to $199.00.

A view at the other side of the clearance section. Just look at all the wonderful fabrics.

This is what I came up with. I fell in love with the Iris print fabric. So cheerful.

Enough for pillows and a new table topper and the whole color scheme will be different.

Mixing some of my new fabrics with some I already have, I can create another different color scheme.

Still another one. I am really loving the apple green color.

If I look around, I probably have a few more fabrics that will coordinate with my new ones to create still another color scheme. I LOVE playing with fabric. Ok, I'm sure you can guess the sewing machine is going to be going in high gear for a couple of days. I can't wait to have a whole new look.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I always enjoy your visits.

ReplyDeleteMartha, this store with all those fabrics makes me dreaming. Such a wide range of different fabrics. What could one make with all this materials? You have choosen wonderful patterns and colors. Surely I love the iris fabric, too. And your furniture is a perfect basic and will match to all the color schemes. I am so curious how it will look when it is ready.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Johanna
I'm jealous. I live so far out in the country I practically have to buy an airplane ticket to get to JoAnn's! There used to be a store similar to yours in Dallas, but their prices weren't nearly as good. Anyway I'd be as likely to get to where you are as to Dallas. :( Still I'm glad you have something so yummy near you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous store! I love to browse through those fabric stores! I really like your selections, especially the one with the iris! Can't wait to see the finished projects!
ReplyDeleteHappy holiday weekend!
Katherine
P.S. - I added more pictures to the Floridian afternoon tea.
Great fabrics!! I can't wait to see the finished results. I love the bright orange colors in the iris pattern.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had a store like that one near me! I'd be in there all the time.
Marty I love the fabrics you picked out!! We are getting a Joanne fabric store in July up in Pueblo. I am so excited!! Love that store!!
ReplyDeleteI will have to find out where that rug store is you went to when I go down to Phoenix (who knows when!!) I am needing a bigger area rug for my dining room. The one there now really should be in Bill's study as it is more casual. Hopefully I will have figured out that dining room so I will know what kind of carpet I need but I am having too much fun with the bits of time I have being outside in the yard and enclosed porch to worry about it right now!
bee blessed!

That is one gigantic fabric paradise! I love the fabrics you put together. Love the green and orange or coral. Very pretty. Look forward to the finished pillows.
ReplyDeleteI really think I like fabric almost more than dishes :) I am so envious of your having that great store! It's probably a good thing I can't sew--that's what keeps me in check :) You have several great looks! Can't wait to see! Have a good Memorial Day weekend friend!
ReplyDeleteI love that store too!
ReplyDeleteI have one pillow to sew....one, and I keep putting it off!
Maybe I should just come over by you and get it done!!
A place like that is a day trip for me, Marty! I love fabric, too, and they look like they really have a nice selection. You got some great ones and that iris fabric is great for a pillow.
ReplyDeleteWow..I love that new color combination. The store looks fabulous, of course I would have to stick to the rugs. I can't sew a stitch, so all that fabric would just be wasted on me:( I did see some gorgeous things in your pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to look beautiful Marty! I could spend days in that store. What a wonderful place. When I shop in a store like that, I come home with way too much fabric, and then I spend years trying to think of a way to use it all! You are so smart to have it all figured out! laurie
ReplyDeleteMarty, I love the fabrics you picked, especially the iris print. This store looks like somewhere I could get lost in for days and the prices are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Marty, I love fabric too! The texture and color and even the fragrance! How fun to choose some new colors and prints for a little boost. I posted about making pillows and curtains and such today too!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea where you live, but is this store in North GA? Looks kinda familiar to me.
ReplyDeleteMarty, I LOVE your colors!!! I love fabric to and my daughter just gave me a bolt of brick red with gold bee's on it. Do you think it might be too dated?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your advice.
Your home is simply lovely and I can't pull off something like that. I am a second hand rose to be sure...lol

Your post has so inspired me. That peach cobbler is going to be on the menu for next week. yummy I purchased a new sewing machine 8 months ago and then left for a long trip and now I need to look at the dvd again and see if I can still thread it. lol Your post inspired me to get mine out and make something. We moved in our new house 3 years ago and many of my drapes were made from Home Fabrics material. Love the choices and the price. Maybe we can meet at Home Fabric some time. Can't wait to see your finished product. Our weekend will be spent watching our grandson play baseball...love it.
ReplyDeleteI love fabric liquidators! Please tell the name and location of this one. It looks to be worth the trip.
ReplyDeleteLove you color choices! Where o' where is this wonderful store? Please tell!
ReplyDeleteIs there such a thing as fabric envy? Your choices are beautiful. Have fun creating with your new fabrics.
