The mountains are so pretty, and still with a little snow on the tops.

A view of the Deschutes river that runs beside the house that I owned when we lived there. Still so pretty.

There was a mamma deer and her two babies that were wandering around in my son's backyard. I never could get a picture of the babies. The mamma deer would really get upset when you came out to the back by the river if the babies were close to the water.

My son, dil and two grandchildren with my dh. I had such a wonderful time with all of them and really enjoying those precious grandchildren. They grow up so fast.
It's great to be home, and I look forward to making the rounds to see what all has been going on. I'll be checking in as soon as I get things settled. I missed all of you, and hope you all had a great week. Pin It

ReplyDeleteDear Ms. Marty !!!!!! I am crushed that you didn't spare at least a minute or two for coffee downtown with me. Next visit, promise you will email in advance. It was so much fun looking at your great photos knowing exactly (with the exception of your home site) where you were.
ReplyDeleteOn a walk through my neighborhood last week (situated near downtown) I encountered three deer prancing merrily through back yards. It always makes me happy to see them ... they are magical!
My grandchildren tell me I go 'nutty' but I know I don't. Well, maybe a little. Take care.

ReplyDeleteSo much has been going on. I am sure you may have already been to my blog. We thought we were going to lose Amy on Saturday night and God Bless her she pulled through. Went to see the surgeon yesterday and after a week with no food of any kind, they are going to start feeding her hyperal until her surgery date which we belive will be one week from tomorrow. They will call them as soon as they have it scheduled. It is going to be rough. I will have my work cut out for me during this time. I have so missed your smiling face. Love the photo of the family. How sweet is that? The deer were just beautiful, you lived in a gorgeous place. Friday is the day that Jamie and I are going to Sedona. I can harldy wait. Will have my camera in hand for sure. Talk to you soon. I love you, Sherry

Kammy
What a beautiful family you have. I know how much you love those grands...I have 10 of them!! Just love them all to pieces.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the mountains are just fabulous. When you do photos this large, do you have trouble with the cutting off on the right side? If I make mine this large, mine do get cut off some. Just wondering. Appreciate any info you might have for me on that.
So glad you enjoyed your time with your family..it is the best time of all.
xo bj
Just me again..:>)

Welcome home Marty! Glad you enjoyed your vacation. Pics are beautiful of the mountains. Thanks for sharing them. With the wonder of the internet, I actually do work for a cancer center in Eugene, Oregon. The pics help me put a place with my work. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteHi Marty,

Looks like you had a great trip. I hope you will stroll on over to diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com and sign up for Crock Pot Wednesdays. There's still time to get in on the great giveaways this week. Hope to see you there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, dear one.
ReplyDeleteI do have the Min. stretch and resol. are set high. If I use the 425/640 formula, no cut offs and pics aren't quite as large but still much larger than the normal...but if I use the 800 formula, it cuts off part of the right side. Sometimes you don't notice it until you pull up a normal size of the same pic..then you can see part has been cut off. Most of the time, it doesn't really matter and I use the 800, which makes the really large pics. If i have something on that right side that I don't want cut in half or off completely, I use the other formula. Whew...this blogging can be work, sometimes. :)
I lived in Oregon for a short time when I was 5 years old. I still remember the big trees and how beautiful the snow was in the winter. I've been back there a few times as I still have relatives living there. Your pictures are so beautiful. I love the size. I wish all blogs had pictures this size.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Charlotte
What a beautiful area of the country! Beautiful family, too, Marty!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos. I hope to be able to visit that area some day. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOregon to Arizona must be a shock to your system. I lived in Beaverton Oregon for about 3 months once. It was beautiful there. But my family & heart lies in southern California. Glad you are back safe & sound. We missed you while you were gone. And yes, children & grand children grow up too fast. My grandson is turning 2 in about 10 days.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful holiday and the scenery is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Marty....
