Another "Cloche Party" - September 11 th




Yea!!! Let's have another "Cloche Party". Most of you voted to have a party seasonally, so I thought maybe Sept. would be a good time to do a Fall event. That is only eight weeks away, so if you're like me I need to start thinking now about how to decorate all my cloches and apothecary jars.

If you want inspiration you can click here to see the unbelievably gorgeous participants in the last party. We had 120 people participate and each and every one of them had something gorgeous and unique to show us. Browse through a few of them for some great eye candy and ideas.

Remember, it doesn't have to just be a cloche, apothecary jars are part of the fun too. In the last party we had cloches made out of all different kinds of material ( glass, chicken wire, wicker, iron and all kinds of things). The apothecary jars were also done in different materials. It was so much fun to see how creative everyone is.

So, dust off all those containers and rev up all your creative juices and get ready for the next party. I can hardly wait to see what you create. I will have Mr. Linky up on the evening of Sept. 10th, so be sure to link up so everyone can find you.

    I saw several yesterday in a store and passed them by because I thought your party was over....didn't know you were having them seasonally!     I don't know much about cloches ... I'm glad you provided examples of what you did last time. I do have some covered cake pedestals ... and an old faux bird cage that opens on the bottom. Perhaps I could come up with something --- I'll try! ;)

    Just wanted to come by to say Hello and see what you've been up to! Russell was home all last week on vacation and just went back to work today...I didn't get to the computer much...feeling a bit alienated! Hehe! Maybe I can get back on a "regular" schedule again...whatever that is! Hehe!

    Anyway, I see that you've been busy, my friend! Ohhhh...I just love your sweet, sweet vintage cloche! It's really beautiful!!! All the items relate so well to one another...so pretty and feminine! I love that carved cameo on the shell...it's gorgeous! I do believe that you ARE the "Queen of the cloches", my friend!!! I sure have enjoyed looking at all of the different cloches that you've done and really look forward to the next cloche party! I got so many great ideas from seeing all of the participant's creativity!!!

    Just wanted to tell you that I was looking down through a couple of your posts that I missed...I just love your last tablescape "Bringing the Outdoors In"!!! Ohhh Girl, I love that wire cloche...is that new? I don't remember seeing it before! It's so charming with the chicken wire...love it!!! And love the little bird vignette that you used in it too!!! That was such a pretty table...love your pretty aqua tulip tablecloth with the buttery yellow dishes!!! Soooo pretty!!!
