Thanks to our lovely and gracious hostess Barb @ Grits and Glamour it's time for another fun Tea Time. Be sure to go by her party and check out all the lovely Teas that have been set up.

We're serving Tea for three today. I'm so glad you joined me. I hope you enjoy your visit and refreshments.

Please choose your teacup. We have three vintage ones to choose from.

I'll be glad to pour from the silver service. There's also lemon if you'd like.

Please help yourself to some fruit, the peaches and grapes look especially good.

For dessert I hope you'll try some White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle cake.

We have an assortment of sandwiches, please try some of each. There's also some iced lemon water if you'd like.

Our vintage plates are Grace China, made in Japan. Please help yourself and then let's visit. I'm so glad you joined me today.
Thanks for stopping by, I had a great time. Please come again soon.

Marty, I just got back from my monthly scoping out my favorite thrift shop. The last Wednesday everything in the shop is half off. Their prices are very cheap even at full price. I even take that morning as vacation. I went there and decided what I wanted, so when the doors open at 9 AM I will be there to run to what I want. Nuts, I know. Anyway, they have a silverplated pitcher just like yours. The regular price is $8.00 so I should be able to get it for $4.00. I was debating if I should get it, then I looked at your post again. That clinched the deal. If I can have a table as lovely as your, you bet. I can just see it with lovely goblets with water, ice and lemon slices. Thanks for inspiring me.
ReplyDeleteOh girl this is sooooo pretty...love how you covered every detail and I was gonna ask about that glorious vintage china...thanks for giving the info about it...anyone would feel like royality having tea with you girl..
ReplyDeleteI did so love that cloche party...oh my word at all the beautiful inspiration that came from that...I do so hope you continue to have them...it was just the best thing! I hope you are having a great week my friend!
Yum. That cake appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteMarty, you have such a lovely way of putting things together...
ReplyDeleteThat tea party setup is just darling and I so would have love to have partaken and meet you and learn more about Arizona that I didn't get to appreciate when I lived there. We were at Ross today and though I found cute teapots, there were no teacups and saucers in sight! And my darling 10-year old wants one so bad, the "real stuff" as she puts it. Hee, hee! I need to go back to Goodwill and try my luck there, huh?
I so can't wait for the Fall Edition of the Cloche Party! I'm keeping my eye out! LOL
Marty this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteStraaight out of a decorator magazine with it's elegance.
You are a talented lady my friend.
Have a blessed day.
